A day or two back, the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, was in Scotland making a rare visit to see how the natives were doing. Frankly, we are not sure why he was here but it must have had something to do with the Opinion Polls where he is not faring terribly well, at least as far as Scotland is concerned.
It didn't take Wee Nicola long to criticise the Prime Minister's visit. He hadn't even got back across the Pentland Firth from Orkney before she started raging like a banshee that the Prime Minister should not have been politicising Covid 19 while in Scotland! And this from a politician who, more than anyone, milked the system dry and politicised Covid - and not to mention the Scottish National Party who are flogging face coverings with the SNP emblazoned thereon! If ever there was a vulgar stunt, this it it.
For someone who simply cannot get enough Covid attention this was as hypocritical as a politician can get. She might be riding high at the moment because of Covid but the reckoning will come ere too long when the grand post-mortem examination will lay bare her governance of Covid.
Bring it on.
