It's difficult to believe this, actually.
Yesterday, Nicola announced that Scotland would not, after all, quarantine people returning to Scotland after their summer break in Spain and despite all the fuss she had made about it earlier when she refused to follow the Westminster government guidelines on the matter. In other words, she had prevaricated and prevaricated to extract maximum Limelight on Nicola time over the issue.
Today, the Westminster government announced that it is seriously considering adding Spain to the Quarantine List of countries given a serious and alarming jump in the number of Covid cases there! The problem is compounded for Nicola by the fact that 60% of Scottish holidaymakers choose Spain as their destination!
