We also read today that the Scottish National Party held a bitter and bruising meeting in Glasgow yesterday when, no doubt, The Salmond Thing would be the highest item on the agenda. Thankfully, the party is imploding and that can be only a good thing for Scotland.
Those problems, however, do not stop the idiotic MP for the Western Isles saying his piece loudly and for the world to hear. According to Angus Brendan, 'Alex Salmond should be allowed back in the SNP when and if he chooses - given the fiasco that would only be right and just'. No mention whatever of the police investigation or the plight of the two unfortunate women concerned, just Alex, Alex, Alex, Me, Me, Me. Scandalous, just - and that's what we have representing us at Westminster. No wonder the Speaker treats Angus Brendan like a demonic child.
Angus Brendan's thought processes should be reclassified as The Eighth Wonder of the World. He makes everyone else, including Joanna Cherry and Wembley Ken MacAskill, look positively sane - and, by God, with Cherry and Wembley Ken getting beaten in the Maddest Nationalist competition, that is some feat indeed.
