Our old friend, Colin Kennedy, surfaces again. This time, he's in a serious spot of bother - and it's not about the mess he made in his time as Convener of The Crofting Commission either.
Some years back, when Colin was Convener of The Crofting Commission, he fell out with everyone, Scottish Ministers included. After an enforced break of several years from the Commission, Colin retuned recently as a plain, old, everyday Commissioner. We doubt he'll ever be back as Convener, though.
We now find Colin up for trial on 07 March at Oban Sheriff Court charged with assault and breach of the peace allegedly committed at Arinagour, Coll, on 29 June 2021. Obviously, we don't know much more about the case at the moment. We do know, however, that Colin doesn't choose his friends very wisely.
We'll keep a close eye on this one.
