No sooner were we writing about The Reverend Professor - 13 December to be precise - after a long absence than we are writing about him again. It's uncanny.
Today, in the Stornoway Gazette, Donald is off again, this time about Literature, we think. We say 'we think' simply because we just cannot decipher what he's on about, or why. It's a mystery but, as always with Donald, everything he writes is mysterious to us but we are, of course, well behind the times and open to enlightenment.
Our advice to Donald is simple. Before you write another column, Donald, take a glass or two of finest malt whisky and allow yourself to get somewhat mellow. Oh, and stay well away from religion. It makes you angry. It reminds us of the Celtic v Rangers thing, except that your thing is with the Church of Scotland.
We're sure we'll see a vast improvement in your outpourings.
