DR WILSON (11)

Just when we thought that 'Dr' David Wilson,  former 'Lewis SNP Press Officer',  had shuffled off  whence he came he turns up yet again not only like a very bad penny but also like a demented baby rattling the cage for attention.  Not only once,  but twice,  writing exactly the same letter  to both the Gazette and the Free Press last week.

The letter reads :-

"Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party claims to be concerned about the potential loss of jobs at the Arnish yard.  Perhaps its local spokesman would like to explain just what the devolved Labour Government in Wales is doing to save the jobs of 380 workers at the Orb steel works in Newport,  South Wales,  together with possibly thousands of jobs in associated sectors.

"Corbyn claims to have a cunning plan to revitalise industry throughout Britain - a plan which has fallen at its first hurdle.

"That's all we get from Labour - lots of fine-sounding propaganda and no action."

Just why Melinda at the Gazette and Ian at the Free Press publish such drivel is quite beyond understanding.  We would have thought that as a self-styled 'Consultant to the International Oil Industry' Dave would have a few suggestions himself but,  sadly,  none are forthcoming.  And neither,  of course,  has he ever offered any explanation as to why this nationalist government has chosen to make Scotland the highest taxed place in the United Kingdom.

One thing's for sure.  Dave has been watching too much Blackadder on the telly.
