Dear, oh dear, oh dear. Just when we thought that 'Dr' Dave, former 'Lewis SNP Press Officer', had shuffled out of our islands, never to be heard of again, but he appears with more mad musings in, of all places, this week's West Highland Free Press. Editor Ian must have had a brain bypass to let 'Dr' Dave loose on the public yet again.
As always with 'Dr' Dave, it is next to impossible to decipher what he is on about or why he is writing. The only factor that we could identify was his prediction that Labour 'is facing political extinction'. We see that he is still writing from our neighbouring village of TC ....... Lord alone knows what they think of him up there.
Yes, unquestionably, Labour is going through a very rough patch and will continue to so until those idiots of Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott and Milne are gone. The good news, however, is that Labour will re-form under Keir Starmer following those idiots getting the pasting they deserve and which shouldn't be too long. But Labour extinct? We don't remotely think so.
We'll keep both eyes on Dave's latest prediction. For the time being, however, perhaps we should change Dave's name to David Seer in memory of the Brahan Seer originally from across Loch Roag in Uig. Sadly, we suspect that Dave - who infamously uses the prefix 'Dr' and describes himself as 'Consultant to the International Oil Industry' - hasn't the foggiest idea whom we are referring to.
