We really, really, really have a problem. We get everything wrong. No sooner than we had blogged rather snidely recently that our old friend, 'Dr' David (Dave) Wilson, had stopped writing his crazy letters letters to the press than, hey presto, Dave turns up today in the Stornoway Gazette as if he had never been away.
Not that his correspondence makes any more sense than it ever did. In fact, Dave excels today. Not only does Dave reclassify himself today as an expert lawyer, but also he is a prophet and can predict 'the first question Mr U's lawyers would face in court would be "what has changed since 2005?"'. A man of many talents is Dave, and thoroughly wasted feeding hens in TC. He sounds like an ideal candidate for a senior job in the Scottish Nationalist Government - or The Trump Organisation, take his pick.
For those who don't know the full picture, and whom we bore to death trying to get to see Dave in a better light, Dave was on about the privatisation of Caledonian MacBrayne ferry routes. Only he wasn't. His argument - at least what we could follow - was that, if the fraudsters of SERCO are awarded the CalMac routes, then that wouldn't be privatisation at all as 'the vessels and port facilities will still be owned by the Scottish Government'. Note the word 'will'.
Indeed, Dave, indeed. Sublime logic, as always.
