Normally, we would never give a sideways glance at the online paper 'Hebrides News' but we were told to have a peep there today as our old friend 'Dr' Dave Wilson was rambling on about politics yet again.
And, sure enough, Dave's still at it, albeit in a private capacity as 'Lewis SNP Press Officer' is nowhere to be seen. After reading, and re-reading, Dave's epithet many times over we are, as usual, none the wiser why he was writing. It must be us. It certainly cannot be Dave who has a doctorate in something-or-other from somewhere-or-other.
We wonder, however, why Dave has not identified the Western Isles Labour councillor to whom he was referring and 'who has attended only 15 committee meetings since the beginning of 2014 and pocketed nearly £45,000 of salary and expenses' during that time.
This is just not good enough for Dave - the man who tried to get elected to the Comhairle for a Harris ward a year or two back and who quietly buggered off to the Himalayas for the duration of the election hoping that The Hearachs wouldn't learn what an absolute chancer he actually is.
