Five - yes, five - apologies from the dopey Magnus in The Herald today for getting the four winners of the Scottish Pipe Band Championships wrong yesterday together with miscalling the name of well-known Edinburgh gardens.
We know Magnus cannot spell, his grammar is ten-year-old-primary schoolboy stuff and he gets his facts wrong almost more often than he gets his facts right. That he doesn't get his jotters means, in our view, that his bosses, Blott & Company, are equally thick and incapable of understanding what is supposed to be their stock-in-trade, The Queen's English.
