POLICE SCOTLAND (4)

Well,  that didn't take long,  did it?  Ten days,  to be precise.

We are,  of course,  talking about today's big policing story with the Deputy Chief Constable of Police Scotland,  Iain Livingstone,  saying that he wants 'clarity' about the role in Scotland of the National Crime Agency that was formed only on 07 October.  He wants to know who has 'primacy' in policing north of the border,  the NCA or his lot.

There is little more prickly than senior police officers and,  sad buggers that we are, we just love it  when they start squabbling amongst themselves. Like politicians,  it is all about power trips and ego trips.

If you ask us about the specifics here,  it is the toss of a coin  between the devil and the deep, blue sea.
