THE WISDOM OF ANGUS BRENDAN MACNEIL MP (5)

Phew!  Angus Brendan is on the pen  again today to the Gazette.  Why is the delightful Melinda allowing it?

Today,  Angus Brendan's ire is directed at the Comhairle in a rant about Air Services.  Nothing wrong with that.  We,  ourselves,  take pride in being  the Comhairle's worst enemies.

However,  and as ever,  Our Elected Representative goes AWOL.  How in this world he manages to introduce "the very likeable TV personality,  Lorraine Kelly"  and Woman's Own magazine into the same letter escapes us completely.  Can anyone tell us?

His letter concludes that "More thought could have been given to what it could mean for mainland routes if civil servants in Edinburgh followed the latest excuse of the Comhairle for wielding the axe.  Namely,  that when a ferry route is carrying 20 times a same-directional air route that the air route support should be axed".

We're lost completely.  And to think that Angus Brendan was a schoolteacher once  ................
