We opened our newspapers today to see our wayward MP, Angus Brendan, not only hitting the headlines but hitting the leader columns also. Not before time.
It appears that a month or two back Angus Brendan chose to take off to see his team, Celtic, play in Barcelona rather than attend an important House of Commons debate on his party's proposals for Defence of the Realm in this proposed new country of ours. "Defence is not my subject" quoth Angus Brendan on being rumbled, completely failing to grasp the error of his ways.
However, the criticism goes a bit further than that. It appears also that Angus Brendan partook of some of Barcelona's hospitality both at the Nou Camp and also at the return match at Parkhead. At this rate, Angus Brendan will overtake even Wee Man Salmond in their fondness for largesse.
