We had a good laugh today, yet again at Angus Brendan's expense!
According to the newspaper report, someone created a comedy spoof Twitter account supposedly by Lord Blair, the former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police. Apparently, the account praised Scotland's policies on policing stating "You folks up there treat the police with more dignity and respect for the risk their vocation holds".
Despite every indication that this was spoof, Angus Brendan took the bait and tweeted "And people wonder why Scots want independence, Well summed up, sir"!!!!!
It gets worse. The SNP rapidly issued a press release commending Lord Blair!!!!
Both Angus Brendan and the SNP thoroughly deserve one another. But, apart from voting for him, what the hell have we done in the Western Isles to deserve Angus Brendan as MP?
