We see that yesterday a so-called financier got thirteen years in the slammer for taking money off very rich people who wanted to get even richer still without having to work for it. Greed, by another name. Two of those who lost out were Soapy Souter of Stagecoach fame and his sister, Ann, chatelaine of Beaufort Castle, Beauly. Obviously, they are not half as bright as they think they are.
But thirteen years? We would have given the guy a medal.
However, every cloud has a silver lining. The £10 million or so lost by this pair won't be available for The Wee Man to help with his dream of independence.
