Commiserations to Lord Forsyth of Drumlean who has been disqualified for driving for six months following a late-night speeding incident on the A9 near Blair Atholl. The court was told that this was his FOURTH speeding charge in two years so a "totting up" ban was inevitable. Michael was, we recall, Margaret Thatcher's Secretary of Sate for Scotland all those years ago. These Old Tories never learn.
We had to laugh when the court was told that his licence was in the name "Lord Forsyth of Drumlean" rather than his Sunday name of "Michael Bruce Forsyth".
