Today, we see the Stornoway Gazette giving space to the two local sneapan of importance, Angus Brendan and Dr Alasdair, in a joint-column bizarrely entitled "Western Isles MP and MSP Diary".
We wonder why the Gazette bothered. As the joint-column didn't tell us anything of consequence - not even the usual tales of the pair's derring-do - we are left to assume that the paper had a lot of space to make up the pages.
Can anyone tell us how this pair voted in the grand nationalist defence debate of last week? Strangely, for two who are unusually garrulous, they both omit to say.
