So, Mr Burnham is the latest MP for the Makerfield constituency. The unrefined Northern Labour Party machine politician won the day.
We simply don't like the cut of his jib. His victory is anything but a good omen for UK politics. And we will never, ever trust an ageing man who adds Grecian to his greying hair.
If the Labour Party had any sense left it would take a lurch to the Right instead of the Soviet-style politics practised by Starmer, Reeves & Company.
The country is well and truly doomed.
