We woke up this morning to the delicious news that Ms Shona Robison - Scotland's Deputy Leader and Finance Secretary, no less - has been criticised by one of her own ministerial colleagues as 'a cold fish automaton who is painful to listen to'.
The colleague should, of course, have written 'brain-dead' also into the description of Ms Robison. That is a prime and necessary qualification for not only SNP ministerial appointments but also, it would appear, for the great majority of the SNP cannon fodder. With the SNP, the one certain and consistent factor is that dross rises upwards.
We continue to see ample evidence of that.
