NICOLA STURGEON AND SANJEEV GUPTA (1)

It never rains but it pours.

Today,  we see from the newspapers wild-eyed photographs of a beaming Nicola Sturgeon - Scotland's First Minister,  no less - accepting a 'commemorative medal'  (whatever the hell that is) from none  other than Sanjeev Gupta,  boss of the GFG Alliance conglomerate,  at an SNP conference at the Village Hotel,  Glasgow, on 07 October 2018.  By that time,  the Scottish Government had loaned,  advanced,  or guaranteed GFG and subsidiary Liberty Steel anything up to £500 million of taxpayers' money.

The big problem for Nicola - and it's going to become a much more serious problem - is that last week the Serious Fraud Office in London announced it had commenced a criminal investigation into allegations of 'suspected fraud,  fraudulent trading and money laundering' against GFG Alliance.  That is as serious as it gets.

Don't forget that this is the self-same woman who fraudulently went to the electorate as recently as 06 May citing as her main qualification for re-election her experience of leadership in government.  We have always thought The Stalinista and her rotten crew habitually unfit to run a minnodge  let alone a government but,  then,  in Scotland we have the most stupid electorate in the world.

Anyone with a semblance of wit could have spotted a chancer like Gupta a million miles away.  We'll keep a close eye on this one.
