Kate is the Cabinet Secretary for Finance in Wee Burney's government, or, more correctly, we should say, what passes for a government. At one time we had high hopes for Kate but, regrettably, no longer.
We saw Kate last week on BBC Question Time. She has, very obviously, been trained well by Wee Burney in thinking, and saying, that everything problematic is the fault of the Westminster government while everything good - and there's precious little of that - is all down to the SNP. That apart, we have always liked Kate in a personal sense as she carries none of Wee Burney's venom.
Pack it in, Kate. You need something infinitely better than SNP bile for your intellectual talents and a revamped Labour under Keir Starmer would suit you much better. There'll be a vacancy for a Scottish Labour Leader shortly.
