Just as the UK is trying to get back on its feet, the daft wee lassie Nicola attempts another spanner in the works for the sole purpose of more Limelight on Nicola. No wonder Scotland lags behind the rest of the UK in everything that it does. That's Scottish Nationalism for you.
Westminster has now allowed air travel between many world countries with no quarantine on return but that's not good enough for Nicola who has not agreed that there should be no quarantine on any return to Scotland. It means that we in the Western Isles can now travel to, say, Newcastle Airport for a trip abroad but the moment we return to the Border with England we may well be placed in quarantine. But just where will she lock us up for quarantine? Or will she have guards at the Border checking each and every vehicle that arrives?
Yes, yes, we know that there are risks and risks and all sorts of things involved but, as the saying goes, there are always risks in even crossing the road. It is long past time that the UK attempted a return to normality but, as ever, Nicola is dragging her heels for purely Limelight on Nicola purposes.
If Nicola is half as smart as she pretends to be, then why the hell did she not impose quarantine on people returning to Scotland the moment Covid appeared ........ and why the hell did she not impose face coverings on people in crowded places until just a few days ago?
She's a gross embarrassment and as inept as they come.
