FIRST MINISTER STURGEON (1)

While we have never,  ever agreed with her political outlook, or the way in which she advanced her cause,  we couldn't help but feel terribly sorry for the pasting Nicola got in the Scottish Parliament the other day. She was crucified and entirely of her own making.  We simply don't like to see a woman being kicked when she's down - and all over that charlatan who is often called her mentor.

Instead of slogging it out,  Nicola should have put her hands up at the outset and admitted that she had made a terrible error of judgement in meeting or communicating on at least five occasions with a man she shouldn't have touched with a bargepole. That would have been readily forgivable. Her crazy explanations,  however,  will never be forgivable so that,  for her now,  it's only a matter of time. Like many of her utterances in the past,  she was far too rash and ill-considered.  Her approach to politics was simply too juvenile.

It's a sad end but the question remains ........ who on earth,  or what,  put her up to it?
