CARLOWAY ESTATE TRUST - FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY (13)

Things are not going well for the phenomenon known as Community Buyouts.  Most of them,  if not all of them,  are in financial difficulty and we doubt very much if Carloway Estate Trust can escape those same difficulties.  Storas Uibhist,  Assynt,  Eigg,  Gigha and Pairc are all reported as having financial problems - with Storas Uibhist reported as having serious inter-personal problems also.

We first wrote about Carloway Estate Trust on 06 November 2012 and when we expressed our serious concern whether the idea that  was being floated was financially viable.  We have been pessimistic ever since.

If Storas Uibhist is anything to go by the future is bleak.
