At last, some update on this attempt by Michael Matheson to defraud the public purse by claiming - and getting - a wholly improper figure of £11,000 from Scottish Parliament authorities. He has now had his salary withdrawn for two months and suspended from Holyrood for a period.
We have long argued that this fraud merited the attention of Police Scotland. The greasy little crook was caught bang to rights as they say but kept on wriggling and wriggling. Even as we write, he refuses to resign, a man utterly without honour.
All this from a man who was a long-time Cabinet Secretary for Justice in Ms Sturgeon's corrupt administrations!
