Gavin Williamson is a former fireplace salesman, former Tory Chief Whip, a former Defence Secretary and former Education Secretary. Just a few days days ago, Rishi Sunak appointed him as Cabinet Office Minister, an appalling appointment at least as bad as that of Suella Braverman as Home Secretary and bringing us into the category of Nadine (Mad Nad) Dorries fruitcake instability.
Williamson is both an idiot and a well-proven liability. He has been misbehaving again, this time sending abusive, expletive-loaded texts to fellow Tory MPs. If ever there was a man who says the wrong thing at the wrong time, Williamson is that man. Just looking at him, he simply doesn't look right. Even his colleagues say he's a nasty piece of work.
With both Williamson and Braverman holding Government offices, we must have the gravest reservation about the current Prime Minister's judgement. It doesn't augur well.
