This man, KamiKwasi Kwarteng, Chancellor of the Exchequer, is fast becoming the most questionable individual in politics. Questionable in competency and questionable in the sort of company he keeps.
Today, we learn that a few hours after he delivered his infamous mini-budget some ten days ago, when he handed the super-rich helpings and helpings of Treasury money, he was hob-nobbing with greedy and disagreeable hedge fund managers at a champagne event at the home of one of those people. In our view, mixing with such chancers was the very worst thing he could have done.
KamiKwasi has no common sense or judgement whatsoever. We wonder how long he'll last?
