WESTERN ISLES COVID (2)

We see from the Stornoway Gazette today a blazing tirade from the Western Isles Health Board following 'social media' reports about the Covid cases in the Isle of Lewis.  From what we follow - not that we have seen any such  'social media' reports -  the rumours appear to be over the source of the infection of 29 cases on the island.

Beyond that,  we have no idea.  What we do know,  however,  is that the Western Isles Health Board has a duty to clarify publicly the source of the infections so that no one requires to speculate on what is a deadly serious business.

The Western Isles Health Board has a duty above all to honest,  truthful  and open.  So,  just by failing to identify the source,  or sources,  of the infections,  why is the Board only adding to the rumours?
