THE BREXIT AGREEMENT (1) LIB-DEM OPPOSITION

We have refrained up till now from commenting on the  Brexit negotiations for the simple reason that we hadn't the foggiest idea what was going on and neither,  we suspect,  had anyone else.  At least,  for now,  some sort of Agreement has been achieved.

The right-wing press are united and euphoric in their praise of Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the deal he achieved.  As always with Conman Johnson,  the devil will always be in the detail and we have yet to see any of that so that we have no option but to hold our judgement.

Johnson is  the sort of man no one should ever shake hands with unless  fingers are counted immediately afterwards.  As for the right-wing press - and not forgetting the most dishonest politician of them all,  Nicola Sturgeon -   no one should ever shake hands with them at any time,  full stop.  It's worse than shaking hands with The Devil.

We see that the Liberal Democrats have already rejected the Agreement.  Keir Starmer would do well to think long and hard about the Agreement also.
