THE ALEX SALMOND INVESTIGATION (6)

This tale is getting ever stranger and stranger and where fact is stranger than fiction.  It is,  of course,  typically SNP,  where everything is simply a fraud.

Yesterday,  this Holyrood committee inquiring into the Alex Salmond Affair released details of a written submission made to the committee by the Chief Executive of the SNP,  Peter Murrell,  who,  as it happens,  is Wee Burney's husband.  Essentially,  Mr Murrell's statement was that ,  despite Salmond calling on them at their home in Glasgow on two occasions in 2018,  and while he knew something 'serious'  was being discussed,  he was not a party to it and Wee Burney refused to let him know what was being discussed as,  apparently,  it was Government,  rather than SNP,  business.

Mr Murrell went further,  much further,  He went on to state that he only became aware of the complaints against Mr Salmond later in 2018 after reading about them in a newspaper!  The big problem now for both Wee Burney and Mr Murrell is that Wee Burney has already told MSPs that her three meetings (two in Glasgow and one in Aberdeen)  with Mr Salmond in 2018 had been in her capacity as SNP leader!  

Believe any of that if you will.  Mr Murrell is to appear before the committee next week.
